About System
What does the GoGetC2.com system offer?
The system lets you add new flashcards almost like writing words in a notebook. You save a word in your target language, add its meaning in your native language, and write an example sentence next to the meaning. Of course, the easiest way is to copy and paste good examples from an AI chat instead of typing everything manually.
Can I see my learning statistics?
Yes. The system shows basic statistics, such as how many flashcards you have, how many are due for review today, and how many are scheduled for future review.
Can I edit my flashcards?
Yes. You can view all your flashcards in a table and edit them whenever you want.
You can easily search the table using Ctrl+F, as it is displayed on a single web page.
Can I hide the meanings of my flashcards?
Yes. This is the recommended setting. First, you try to remember the meaning of a word in your target language by yourself. Then you reveal four possible answers and choose the correct one. This helps you think before seeing the answer.
What are simple flashcards?
Simple flashcards are the recommended option. You enter a word in your target language and try to remember its meaning in your native language. This mainly strengthens your passive memory. In our opinion, this is enough for most learners.
What are native flashcards?
Native flashcards are a harder option. You enter a word or even a full sentence in your own language and try to translate it into your target language. This may strengthen active memory, but it can also make learning slower, more tiring, and less enjoyable.
Why do we recommend simple flashcards?
We believe that simple flashcards are usually enough. If you see a word in English, for example, and you know its meaning in your own language, your passive memory becomes stronger. Later, when you hear the same word many times in films, podcasts, conversations, or TV, you may naturally start using it actively.
Example
For example, you may see the sentence: “The PM was heckled at the airport.” If you have the word “heckle” in your flashcards, you will know what it means. After hearing it several more times in real content, you may start using it yourself without forcing active memorisation too much.
Which device should you use — a desktop or a smartphone?
When it comes to training your memory by doing flashcard quizzes,
it’s more convenient to use a smartphone.
However, adding new words, meanings,
or example sentences is much easier on a desktop, where you can quickly copy
and paste content from an AI chat using a mouse.
How to hear the pronunciation of a word or sentence in your target language?
In this system, you can quickly hear how a word or sentence sounds in your target language.
- In Simple Flashcards, the pronunciation is available for the word — the target language item.
- In Native Flashcards, the pronunciation is available for the meaning — the target language translation.
How to use it
- On desktop: move your mouse over the word or sentence. The pronunciation will play automatically.
- On mobile: tap the word or sentence once to hear it.
This feature helps you connect written words with real pronunciation,
making it easier to remember and use the language in practice.
Remember to go to settings and select the correct language you are learning, as the pronunciation depends on it.
Can I set email reminders to remember to review my flashcards every day at a specific time?
Yes. In GoGetC2.com, you can set a daily email reminder in your settings. This can help you build a regular habit of reviewing your flashcards every day.
To turn this option on, go to your account settings and enable the daily email reminder. Then choose the time when you want to receive the reminder and select your correct time zone.
For example, if you want to review your flashcards every evening, you can set the reminder for 20:00 in your local time zone. The system will then send you an email every day at that time.
This is useful if you often forget to start your review session. A short daily reminder can help you stay consistent and make flashcard practice part of your normal routine.
What if you didn’t have time to review your flashcards and now you have, for example, 1000 cards waiting for review? Can you review only the flashcards added after today’s lesson with your teacher?
Yes.
For every flashcard, both in Simple Flashcards and Native Flashcards, there is a checkbox available.
On desktop, you can select multiple checkboxes at once by holding the Shift key.
On smartphones (Android/iOS), selecting multiple checkboxes at once works differently
because mobile browsers do not support holding the Shift key.
However, you may find alternative methods by asking an AI agent.
Select the checkboxes and press the Prioritize button.
You can find flashcards selected for review in:
Simple Flashcards → Priority Quiz
Native Flashcards → Priority Quiz.
These quizzes work a little differently from:
Simple Flashcards → Main Quiz
Native Flashcards → Main Quiz.
Priority quizzes are helper quizzes. They are designed for one-time extra review outside the normal review order.
After reviewing a flashcard correctly, it disappears from the priority quiz automatically.
If you added flashcards to the priority quizzes by mistake, go to Settings — there you will find a button to clear all priority quizzes.
